This is the first purpose built off road overlanding vehicle I own or build. I'm really attempting to build light weight with less excess whistles and wants. I have already installed a 3.5" RE super ride lift. I'm going to put BFG A/T KO2's there a light tire I will use Steele rims though.
Instead of heavy bumpers for recovery I opted for some hitches good bad idea ? Also plan to bolt some armor panels/skids to the hitch frame not sure exactly yet.
Recovery points , I just ordered a rear hitch class 3. Will I be able to put a 8,000lb winch onto the receiver ? I also ordered the front hitch from Curt and says it has a max line pull of 9,000lbs. The rear looks built the same. https://www.hitchweb.com/product/88/13084/Class-3-Hitch-Jeep-Cherokee-Wagoneer
Thanks for your input guys.
