After using my Landcruiser for a daily driver I finally saw the light, and bought a 1990 Ford Ranger. 61,000 miles, no rust, new rubber everywhere. I mean everywhere, bed mounts, cab mounts, rear bushings, front bushings, door seals, rear & front window seals, under the hood, etc etc.. The only thing wrong with it is that it sits too low. I’ve ordered a kit which will raise the rear 2” and the front 1.5”. It will be for normal driving duties here in our semi-rural environment. 20 mpgs with that little v6 is a whole different world. Than 11 or 12 with the cruzer. Now the Landcruiser is where it belongs, in the carriage house with all the gear & trailer, patiently awaiting our next tour.
