Thanks!!! I used to be a full time fabricator/machinist, now just do it on the side. Ya I've been trying to keep my eye out for any local meets, hopefully once the snow melts there will be more group trips!
Ordered some parts to fix my AC and a line lock for the brakes so I can have a parking brake until I can buy a mechanical transfer case/ driveline break.

Your welding looks so much better than the PO's welds. This is one awesome K5 beast. Was it originally a Military Blazer?
Haha yep . It's 1/8"thick, does wonders for noise reduction and heat as well.

Haha. I used that stuff on my rig too! It's exactly the same stuff as fat mat or dynamat. Although technically not rated for the heat. I used some actual automotive sound mat above the hot areas of the floor, like above the transmission and exhaust system just in case, everywhere else I used that stuff!
I'm going to use it on the ceiling above my head liner too.

Progress has slowed :(. I'm currently debating buying new bucket seats and harness's as well as getting a tube bender so I can do a roll cage, and some other tube work as well.
