You will probably remember me now that you see the Cherokee.

Yes, I am running the Rough Country 3" lift http://amzn.to/2nN6Vli . I was a bit scared of the Rough Country lifts since I heard nothing but how rough they rode. The price was right so I decided to take a chance. I am pleasantly surprised at how well this kit rides. I really can tell very little difference from stock. If you don't have wag sag I would recommend the kit for you. With the lift I also needed a drop pitman arm and I replace the front shackles with Jeep XJ rears. Nice thing about this kit is you don't have to fool around with the spring bolts in the back. The one next to the tank requires removal of the gas tank to get the bolt out. Also, you don't have to have longer brake lines with this kit.

My tires are BF Goodrich KO2's in 33x10.5x15 size on Pro Comp 69 8" wheels http://amzn.to/2APWSko . I have a Wide Trac so I do have a lot more room for tires than a Narrow Trac though. You might get away with 31's on the Narrow Trac as long as you keep the tires narrow.

Very Nice! Shopping around, I think I may go with the Rustys 6 inch suspension lift. That way i can run 33 inch tires. The 6 will allow me to run 35s but I personally think they look too big and I dont want to cut my fenders.

To me I think the 6" lift is way too high for a true overlanding vehicle.

If you go to a 6" lift you will have a very noticeable loss in ride comfort and you loose wheel articulation. High arc springs do not flex well. The main reason Wagoneers ride so nice is that they have a fairly flat spring from the factory. Also, going that high you will need to do some serious steering modifications to make it right. believe me, even with just the 3" lift I had a uneasy feeling at highway speeds before I installed the drop pitman arm. With the 3" you can correct with a drop pitman, but going any higher you have to look at a high steer mod which moves the draglink to the top of the knuckle.

If you want to maintain ride and off road performance then a spring over conversion on the front with a shackle flip in the back will net 6" with the stock springs. Still have to do a steering mod though.

I think you can run a 33x10.5x15 with a 3 inch lift going by what is mentioned on this tread http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=44404 .
