1973 Ford Ranger XLT Ranger

Bought this truck as a follow up to my 1974 F350 Ranger Super camper special overland build, but life takes its turns and I can’t finish it. What we have is a 1973 Ranger XLT: Super Camper special. Mostly complete truck powered by a 390 V8 with automatic transmission. Does run but just developed a lifter tick and with moving jobs and home and some other projects and having another rig to use for camping this year I cannot (afford ) to finish this truck and my new living arrangements won’t accommodate it.
When the truck runs it runs and idles strong and moves around the shop yard with pride. Prior owner was going to build a dump truck so they removed the side tank and welded in a dual exhaust in its place. Truck is ran off fuel can currently.
The body of the truck is in great shape which is why I took on the project over the 74. Will need a thorough going through before being put on the road.
This is a project. Please keep that in mind.
