All that effort and now we spend all of our time trying to figure out how to get off the roads!

It's like when people saved their good overalls for church and were ashamed to go out in public with a small unmended hole in their clothes. (Interesting that spell check doesn't recognize the word, "unmended.")

These days, slashed jeans are the style. Just goes to show how well-off we truly are.

I watched the video on the Lincoln Highway and I always thought Route 66 was the first highway to span across but was very much mistaken. The Lincoln Highway was the first highway to span Across American that connected San Diego CA to New York, NY. It's a great history lesson on how everything started and how things were done back then. It's fastening as well since this was only 100 years ago which is a drop in the bucket for time and it makes you realize how far we have come as a civilization with technology in just an extremely short period of time. I hope you all enjoy the video, I know I did.
