Winter Camping\off-roading is great, you missed a few plusses though...

1) You can off road all day and your Rig will likely come home cleaner.
2) You can always shovel your way unstuck
3) When you put your beer down, it gets colder.
4) Northern lights can be unreal in the winter (If you're from the North)

Great Pics...

When i was 13 in Eagle River Alaska, me and some friends decided to camp in -20 degree weather one night. There was tons of beetle killed spruce on my friends dads property so we always brought a crosscut ( 2 person ) saw with us.
We got the bonfire flames 15 feet high and it melted a huge ring for us to hang out in. Only downside was a few melted gloves and 1 tent got alot of burn holes. Best part... shooting bottle rockets at each other not worrying about forest fires. Safety first!

I LOVE winter, the silence is the best part. There are few things I love more than resting after snow shoeing, drinking some Gluwine and watching fresh snow fall in the failing light.

I love winter camping for all these reasons and the fact that off roading in snow is an absolute blast.

BTW, how do you like your folding camp kitchen? I've been eyeballing that particular one for some time thinking I might get it.
I love the kitchen set up! Check out Amazon, the exact one was a bit cheaper
