There she is pretty much as Ford intended her to be. The Leer 100XQ was added for bike camping, but now I caught the Overlanding bug. I always wanted to go to Alaska and to drive down to Brazil. She is a 6.4 Powerstroke Diesel that just now after 116000 miles started to leak coolant. (Common on the 6.4). So its the typical while I'm in there list.
New Mishimoto radiator and hoses.
Thermostats
Power Steering Pump
Water Pump
200 amp alt.
all new idlers & pulleys & Gates Green Stripe belts
2 new Northstar AGM batteries.
Trans filter & flush.
The rear differential is limited slip, I will install a Detroit Locker when I return from Expo West.
I do not intend on going crazy with this build as it is my opinion that she has too much electronics to go too far south of the border. Not to mention she requires ULSD. I have much more confidence in my daily driver which is a 1985 W123 Diesel with over 200K. The Super Duty just happens to be a "run what you brung" project.
I would like to get a roof top tent on her. (on the leer if possible)
