It's true, some environments are worthy of the off-road expedition and time and talent it takes to get there. For me, NM and AZ were NOT those places. But I was wrong.

Following the Arizona BDR, planning on 6 days or so. Starting at the State Line Campground on the Utah-Arizona border, and ending up at Coronado National Memorial.

One reason to enter AZ here was to explore a bit in the Coronado National Forest. FR 42 is 20 miles of awesome travel. We encountered over a dozen deer and Colette spotted a Mountain Lion perched on a rock just above the road! We also passed by several campsites, some small that just the truck...
Fits full size trucks with 6.5 foot bed. “Perfectly” fits Dodge Ram 3rd gen (2002-2009) and 4th gen (2009-2018) as this is the type of truck I have. It may also “perfectly” fit previous and later generations of RAM 6.5 foot bed trucks, but I cannot confirm that. It should fit any full size...

A couple of days exploring and photographing/videography in the Vermilion Cliffs NM. Leisurely-paced and loosely structured, allowing ample time for photos and conversation. We'll base close to White Pocket.

This thread I will be showing gear choice, how I pack it, radios, navigation, recovery gear and whatever else. I have a '18 4Runner without a lift and have done some great trips and camping. New gear that I picked up is a Midland 40w GMRS radio and solar generator and panel. I will update with...
Hello all,
I am currently planning a trip from North Carolina out west to Arizona, Utah and then on over to Colorado. I am planning to hit some pretty scenic and well known trails like Black Bear Pass, Eng Pass etc. as well as others in AR and Ut. I am seeking any awesome camping places or...
Living in Arizona one of my hobbies is getting out into the wild to take photos, primarily astrophotography (Can't share those photos on the forums as the files are too big). There are plenty of locations I've only ever traveled to in the dark, the first several times I went to the Grand Canyon...

This is super last minute, but if anyone is looking for something to do this weekend I will be doing a day trip to Butcher Jones near Saguaro Lake. This is a popular spot but I plan on find a spot near cove #3 or Kings Beach to just relax, check out rigs and meet other members.

Join us EVERY 3RD THURSDAY at the Button Brew House (6800 N Camino Martin, Tucson, AZ) to talk about adventuring over some delicious Tucson craft beer. The meetup is a general social event to talk about overlanding and maybe even plan some trips. Some months there may be a topic or speaker...
This is the new Northern Arizona Monthly Meet up Thread. after a successful initial meet and greet we decided we want to make this a regular occurrence, moving around, riding various trails, exploring and learning....Mainly getting together and having fun!
Hello! We are planning a meet n greet for northern Arizona on November 17 (members and non members), now looking at the map I selected a central location for all of us, and that is Seligman, which should be about an hour from you or so......
I reserved Lilo's cafe in Seligman. I am figuring...
