Does it get super hot inside? Going to insulate, and order with side hatch slider windows on both sides along with the dual exhaust fan. Hoping to be able to keep my dog in there with the temperature monitored on my phone. Not on super hot days of course
Honestly... I've gone back and forth from tent camping and sleeping in the back of my truck, and this tent takes the cake if you need to leave camp but want to secure your base camp so someone else doesn't take the area (primitive camping/overlanding).

I've never been on the Mojave trail but have wanted to for years. We're excited to help with this trail work. Wondering if there is an opportunity to explore the rest of the trail perhaps Sunday before heading home with a group?
I have a locked 2wd truck l, plenty of recovery gear and experience. Taking a kid along. Which project would be better to help with? I'm guessing the second project.
Wow! That's some serious trail damage. This isn't the first time I've heard people say the truetrac got them out of sticky situations when 4x4 wasn't available. Hell of a story!
I agree a full locker might have been better, but having this help in ALL situations was a huge selling point for me.
Bought the tiregate tire table used for $80 a month ago. And I plan to buy a Detroit Truetrac limited slip for my 2wd 06 paid off tacoma if I don't find a 4x4 first gen tundra first.
What do you find your biggest obstacles are with two wheel drive? Do you often get stuck ? The only two times I've been stuck have been in deep sand when I shouldn't have stopped in a certain place
