I have the Addictive Desert Design stealth bumper.
It's mall crawler garbage.
If you plan to just hit the dunes I guess it's fine. But it's paper thin metal all around, welds crack easy, no actual recovery points, winch fairlead cutout with odd size 2 bolt mounting - I just drilled my own...
I did Smiley Rock that was fun single day near you. I wouldn't take a trailer though.
And past Jerome on the river Verde there's tons of tracks to just drive on and explore. Not to mention BLM land some with petroglyphs and caves. Tons to explore in your neck of the woods! Have fun
Is the pipe to the main tub still crushed? Some tard drove up the creek with pipe last month. Anyone recall what diameter pipe was too?
Wanted to go but was on another run! Looked fun.
I geared 5.13 for 40s. And I pretty much rock crawl lite with the Power Wagon so I want the torque and reduced stress to the driveline. Fuel consumption has not changed from 12 smiles per gallon (reprogrammed ECU/TCU).
My theory for running the larger tires is to reduce stress to core...
Lockers are a snowball point, because if you are in there in the first place, you might as well regear.
What is your rig geared for? I think it's like 3.73, I think for our axles running 37s the calculators say like 4.56 or 4.88. But plenty of folks run them at 4.10 or even 3.73. As for the...
Grab some power wagon rims of the net, 17inch slightly better offset then the factory 20s or 18s. A better idea would be to get the AEV Salta rims with +27 offset for the 37s.
Can the batwing awning help you get unstuck? I'd put that money to a locker, and before that sliders if you haven't...
Can you get coil springs on the 110? They don't allow it on the Land Rover build website. Looks like smallest wheels you can get are 19's which is lame, not many good tires in that size, you're better off with 20inch mall rims.
Looks like the 90 can have 18" wheels which aint too shabby...
Congrats! Nitto makes good tires. You won't be disappointed. I have 37" Trail Grapplers on my f250 7.3L and they have taken me to some awesome places!
Enjoy modding further! See ya on the trails!
Scenic Route is the best way to go! Can't lose either way, OR coastal routes and mountains, or Prairie on down to NV. A cool but now well visited place is the Willow Creek Hot Springs. Might be out of the way but following the 95 keeps you out of the insanity of californiastan as long as...
Pshaw! Ag inspection is for those mall crawler or low clearance mouth breathers... Henness Pass road folks, Then go up to Balls Canyon or drift down past Boca. More scenery that way!
Then only a short drive to Cabela's or Scheels. Not that it matters these days with ammo prices...
Congrats on your 3/4 ton Rubicon!
I want that green color, pretty good looking. Does the Tradesman version come without the badge or did you have it removed?
Congrats man, AT make nice stuff, I've had the habitat for 3 years. Was a game changer.
Sorry to hear about your housing situation.
Im just down the mountain from ya, Hope to see you on the trails!
That's very early for a unit bearing in a truck to go. It happens, and quicker with the larger tires you put on a vehicle. But I'd figure at the very least 60k for Fullsizes running 37s offroading frequently.
Are you 100% sure it's the bearing?
One wheel could have lost weights and come out...
Hey Mike that place I was trying to tell you about the other weekend and couldn't remember was Shuteye Peak, the road 8029 is a nice drive in the mountains.
Shuteye Peak

I used to rock climb out there. Lots of cool Granite Slabs. Fun to hike about...

I suppose we should be happy the allowed some public comment, as 3 years ago they didn't even bother with the first closure meeting. However it doesn't matter, our overlords doth...
