Just got a new rig, well new to me. Just wanted to post a picture of the new rig, parts are on the way.

I purchased my new used overland rig, a 2004 F150. Wanted something that was my DD and something that could be a project. I don't know what direction I will be heading with this build but I'll enjoy the journey! See you on the trail.

Made a quick trip to Kentucky and made a few stops along the way, camped in Cades Cove, Tennessee and stopped and saw Cumberland Falls.

I'm in Rome Ga about an hour or so from you depending upon where you live in Atlanta.

Just listened Podcast #4 again, and I too am in a funk. Time for change, time to focus on what I want to do, and focus on the outdoors...

Day Trip to Cloudland National Park NW GA There's over 10 miles of trails with elevation changes. A must stop if you are ever in NWG.

What will cost more initially?

Interested in getting a purpose overland vehicle. My truck will be going to the family business. Two choices 4Runner or LandCruiser. What are the pros, cons, experiences with both. This will be a purpose built overlander/ second vehicle. And Go!

Current rig is 2014 Ram 1500 4x4. Location: Georgia 30147 Overland experience is minimal, but I do bring hunting, fishing, camping and mechanical experience to the deal.
