    US Southeast Uwharrie Weekend Run

Is there still room to join? I tentatively have off that weekend. I have a 80 series with sliders, winch, on 35’s. Been to Uwharrie a hand full of times and have completed all but the “3 D’s”. I attempted Dickie Bell on my last trip but bailed. Turns out my 11 year old isn’t the best spotter yet!

    Uwharrie 2023

Got to get out and get my season pass. Checked out the new Lakeview trail which was very well done. Stopped for the night at our favorite camp spot!

    Waterfall Trail Western NC

Does anyone know of a good starting point to string a route together to visit some of the more popular waterfalls in western NC? Does a route exist? I was thinking about exploring the Smokey Mountain 500 and seeing where that gets me to.

Eric! What’s up man? I actually found this on a jeep forum from a few years back when I was searching for a trail map that showed trail difficulty. It seemed spot on from what I explored last year before the trails shut down for the season.

US Southeast Rigs & Coffee - Charlotte, NC: Georgia Traverse

Those are my two main concerns, road closures and finding campsites big enough to accommodate multiple rigs. I’m going to dive into the route and campsites to see what I can figure out from online resources. From what I’ve read and watched on YouTube, it looks like most of the traverse can be...

Cancelled Rigs & Coffee - Charlotte, NC

Sorry guys. I’m on a Disney world trip with the family and won’t be back until late Saturday night. Won’t make the rally point. But I will research and post up what I have when I’m ready. I’m game to extend this trip. So I may plan that all out and see who may want to do the whole traverse or...

US Southeast Rigs and Coffee - Charlotte, NC

I’m out of town but will try and get some info started tomorrow and will post up. I’ve got recovery gear with my rig (12.5k winch, traction boards, recovery ropes) that I can bring. Don’t think we will necessarily need them. I also have a battery powered chainsaw I will bring. What is everyone’s...

US Southeast Rigs and Coffee - Charlotte, NC

I like that idea a lot. I’ve got March 2nd-8th off and I’m wanting to plan a trip over that weekend. Thought I would reach out and see who might be interested? Looking at possibly doing portion of KAT or Georgia Traverse. I’m also open to exploring western NC trails but I think there may be a...

Got the 35in Cooper STT Pros mounted today and thought I’d share the outcome. The wheel wells on the 80 series are huge! Big jump from the factory 31s. Now we need to get out and put these through their paces!

Is there going to be a meet up tomorrow? I’m planning to be there but don’t want to drive 2 hours if it’s not going to happen. Thanks

    NC Roll Call!

Hey Y’all! Name is Matt and I’m in Moore County an hour south west of Raleigh. Moved out here from Texas in June. Done some exploring and tested the waters at Uwharrie before the trails closed for the season. I’ve got a 96’ Land Cruiser I’ve been baselining and building for the past 9 months...

Here is the best trail map I’ve found for the area and what I used as a guide for which trails would be safest to run.

Hey guys! I’m a new member and just wanted to share my experience today. I live about an hour away from Uwharrie National Forest and had a free afternoon today so I decided to hit the trails for the first time since moving out this way in June. I have a 96’ 80 series cruiser I’ve been slowly...

Hey y’all! Just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Matt and I’m located in NC. Newly transplanted from East Texas. Been around trail running and camping for years.
