I did remove the cabin air filter and shop vac the duct work as much as possible. Even picked up an aerosol air vent cleaner.

PS- That brown looking paper in the nest is a turbinado sugar packet I had thrown in the glove box when breaking down camp on the final day of the trip.

@kcTrek19 ` Both replacements were OEM. I did read it was a manufacturing issue.

I ended up taking the truck to the Nissan dealership. They replaced the tensioner and the belt. It was a little over $200. The truck is running nice and quiet now.

Thanks @RainGoat , I looked at the Wilco hitchgate you mentioned but really like that the RIGD UltraSwing would allow a hitch mounted bike rack along with the spare tire.
