    Lensun Solar Panels

Currently using renogy 120w. Considering a 200w (bifacial 100w backside) fivstaSola panel soon. The 120w is ok with keeping my 1024wh battery topped off, but noticed on really hot days, the fridge (aplicool taw35) really draws a lot of juice.

Rotopax, or other fuel storage, mounting ideas

I have rotopax and water mounted on rear windows. They can easily be removed if not in use for daily driving. Very sturdy and no rattles. If i wanted to, i could do the other side, and carry four 3 gallon rotopax. 12 gallons total. Could also put two 3 gallons on the spare tire as well...

Any interest in Custom Molle panels?

I want molle panels for my rear seats upper area, since I never have passengers. But I want to be able to install them without removing my hardtop. No one to help me with top removal.

    Solar Panel recommendations

I have a renogy 120w panel on my roofrack, it connects to my ecoflow delta 2 directly. When camping, I also bring a 220w folding solar panel, just in case. I prefer my power system not tied to my vehicles power system at all.

    Portable solar panel/generator

I prefer my power being portable. I use an ecoflow delta 2 (1024wh) to power my alpicool 35 or 55 quart dual fridge. None of it is hard mounted. They are just strapped in place. When I go camping, I can bring the fridge and battery out, closer to my table or wherever needed. My 120w solar...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Ordered tie rods and drag link. The shop installing them, will be inspecting my rotor shield, he thinks it may be bent and causing a thin tick sound when I turn the wheel.

    Handicap accessibility

That's pretty neat, not too expensive. I had 2 open heart surgeries and couldnt climb in my jeep. Got a folding foot stool to get me in. Wife had to set it up and put it away each time haha! I imagine what it looks like to people who didnt know what was going on. I wonder if a mini...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Went wheeling my buddy and his wife, we did 2 badge of honor trails. Gold Mountain and John Bull. Their 4runner on 37s and portals struggled a little bit, needing to be recovered 3 times, but not bad for a Toyota.

    Favorite camp season

I agree. But ive been seeing more campers during winter than before.

    Favorite camp season

My favorite time to camp is when its cool or cold. Anything above 68° and im not camping. Coldest ive camped in a tent was -14°f in Utah, that was pretty cold! Fingers and toes took an hour to warm up. What about you?

    Medical Emergencies.

Luckily no. But I used to have a heart pump, and that's the reason I got my ecoflow battery. I was running off batteries for the pump, and needed a way to charge them in case. Wife was planning to get us starlink, so that we could call emergency if needed. I do bring a medkit and trauma kit...

What makes a rim good for off road?

True. I chose my wheels because of the weight, also watched a lot of reviews. I would of kept stock wheels (wish I did for winter tires), but they are too narrow for larger tires. Im running a 38x13.5x17 tire and needed wheels to accommodate the width. Looks was last on the list.

    South American Itinerary and Budget

Furthest south ive been is Mexico, and that was just to party. So I cant help with that. My wife is from Peru, and her father had a Hilux for a long time, and there are massive open land to wheel and overland there. You can drive right up to many ancient wonders, no one and no infrastructure...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Jeep was at the dealer about 2 weeks for an EGR failure. Got it back! I reinstalled Banks pedal monster and Tazer mini. Borrowed my moms blue sahara, its only seen dirt once when I forced her to wheel with me, when I had my JK.

    The worst part of adventure

Yeah, for me, packing up is the worst part. Hate it. I drastically reduced what I bring to camp. Its even worse when the sun is beaming down ok you.

    Do you remember when?

My camping started as an infant. My parents took us camping at early ages, before 1 year of age. I started camping on my own in my mid 20s, basic stuff out of a 89 toyota corolla.

My watch is something I always brings. Nice knowing the time in early mornings.
