Its probably been a good 12 years since Ive been out riding. I have an older Gary Fisher that I used to ride. Ive been wanting to get back into it and with all the new tech and terms Im a bit lost haha.
Id say the most popular ones are Old Man Emu, and they just changed their design that looks really nice. Also the Boss system from Toytec is popular and depending on what you want to spend ICON makes some really nice suspension kits.
Never thought about having a pack ready to go whenever. I usually put it all together right before a trip but good ideas on what else I should pack. Thanks for posting!
After years of being in the tire industry, working at tire shops I am a BFG guy all the way. I noticed they lasted longer, wore more evenly, balanced out much easier and were quieter than Goodyears

So far it seems I could go either way. I like the idea of the skottle because its basically a frying pan with legs so that eliminates the need for a few pans.
