Selling my ARB Simpson III with annex room. No damage, light use (40 nights or less), aired and swept out after every trip. Tent is currently off the vehicle. If buyer is able to meet at my house I have a hoist for mounting up to 6ft clearance. Spring 2021 I added a high density mattress that...
Haven't been on this myself but this guy knows his way around the Ozarks. Also look into Byrd's Adventure Center.

To be fair....(Letterkenny anyone?) There are over 500 vehicles attending this year so far. Though that doesn't mean they'll all be camping. If we/ @UploadAdventure can get an estimate of how many vehicles will be we can try and take up as much space as possible ahead of time.
I pretty confident it wont fit a ranger, maybe if you did some fab work it could but the dimensions are:
Length: 55"
Outer width of the base: 64" 1/4
Inner width of the base (the lip that sits inside of the bed walls): 56" 7/8
Height: 18"
Here you can see how the rack sits on top of the bed but...
@UploadAdventure Sharing 3 or so groups with you (STL Tacoma Owners on FB, Tacomaworld and here) would be interested in finding a place where we all could meet up or even do some group camping for those interested. Wife and I will be heading down Thursday morning so we can try and grab a spot...

From what I can tell I'll be one of the early ones there. From what I remember I get little to no signal so if we can plan an area to camp/ stake out ahead of time that'd be cool.
We got there on Friday as well pretty early (7am) and had a hard time finding a decent spot. This year we took an extra day off to get there Thursday early afternoon. Hopefully that should help us beat the rush. I think I asked this before but are any of the STL/midwest guys planning on meeting...

I figured it wouldn't be perfect. Just something that can be used in the tent for 30 mins or so before actually falling asleep. I rarely get bit overnight but that is because the wife's blood is sweeter than mine.
Looking for ways to cut back on the bug bites, specifically mosquito bites. Been using a thermocell and good old Off, with pretty good success but looking for something for the tent/evening. Has anyone tried the portable bug zappers or any other method to avoid bites in the night? Looking into...
From what I remember for the primitive sites they are all first come first serve. I think you can reserve electric sites. Last year we paid for camping when we arrived but you have to pay for the event in advance.
I'm sure we walked past your camp area several times. We'd like to get a spot along the river this year. We plan on leaving Thursday morning and getting there sometime between noon and 3. Hopefully that'll give us enough time for a spot but would definitely enjoy sharing a fire with some of the...
We camped along the airfield last year but would be cool to have a group. Don't plan on doing trails as of now. Getting my suspension installed next month so maybe my mind will change but not sure yet.
I signed up for the Saturday morning ride (Alpha). Planning on going to SMORR Friday night, doing the ride to MOORE on Saturday and should arrive about 1130/noon, then spending a 2nd night back at SMORR before heading home on Sunday.
I won't to the expo till around noon. Planning on doing the SMORR to MOORE in the morning. I'm fairly sure others coming from the St. Louis area will be doing the same. If there is a time slot that we could work out for a lunch that'd be pretty cool. I'm guessing / I think I read that there will...
I recently bought a used ARB and will be testing it out briefly on our MOORE trip. It had only been used for a 1 week trip and was priced well. I appreciate all the input, more is always welcome for especially for others that may be looking at this thread. Plus other cool tips, tricks, pros and...
