The best advice i can give is just get pit and find the limits of the vehicle and yourself before you start changing anything. I always start with basic recovery stuff. D rings, tow strap, first aid kit and ability to contact help if you need. And never go alone. My wife has gotten plenty of...
Call rsg off-road they are a great group of guys. Had an old coworker go to them and they were around a thousand or less if my memory serves me right

I'm running their full skid set with diff skid on my 4th gen and couldn't be happier. I thought I had seen they had a bumper filler plate but that might have been for the FJ

You might look at RCI metal works they do a lot of protection parts for Toyota's. I don't know if they make exactly what you are looking for though

Me and my wife do most of our own maintenance stuff but we aren't afraid of taking to a shop for things we can't easily do

I run 275/75/17 bfg ko2 on my 4th gen 4runner and did not had to trim anything or add a wheel spacer. The tires do rub a little at full lock but nothing crazy. I have seen quite a few discount tire shops carry them as well so chances are okay the tire might be able to be sourced quickly. One...
We have the Eddie Bauer inserts currently and she's almost to big for the smaller one but is still to small for anything rough without it
