Update: Installed the Icon leaf springs (option 2) and Geiser springs (2.5"). Truck is fully loaded with sliders and sits level. Very happy with the current setup, rides great and ready for some more 'extreme' offroading.
I have a 2020 Raptor built to enjoy overlanding. Obviously differences between this and the standard F-150 platform, but happy to share what I have learned building out multiple vehicles.

Raptor has received a little more protection! White-Knuckle Offroad now has sliders that will bolt to your Gen2 Raptor frame. These look completely "OE" and provide enough of a step so that the wife doesn't complain. The team at White-Knuckle is super and were fantastic to work with. Check...
Many will question why someone would want to add rock sliders to a Raptor. So let's begin with the intended usage for my Raptor. Coming from a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, that was built for family camping and "Overlanding", the Raptor was purchased to give additional in-cab space and more power. Having...
Working on a pretty exciting collaboration for the Raptor...
As far as I have been able to find, SDHQ is the only company offering a frame-mounted slider for the Gen2 Raptor. Unfortunately, they only offer sliders that weld to the frame. My preference is a bolt-on slider. After reaching out...

New RTT Setup
I didn't really consider a cap. Living in SoCal, dealing with weather is not really an issue. With the Leitner Rack Pods, I can keep some basic items locked in these. The only "cap" that has caught my attention, recently, is the Go Fast Camper V2 Platform. It incorporates a cap and RTT, but...
After doing a 1,300 mile road trip, including the Mojave Road with 4 people and gear, this is on my short list of upgrades. I was sagging enough (~1.5-2") to make me concerned. The only thing preventing me from upgrading now is the cost (~$1,500) and the possibility of having to re-program the...
Having the RTT above the roof line of my cab was one of my concerns before picking the rack. I haven't had it on there long, but really haven't noticed any difference. I think if I was putting on a lot of miles, I'd probably notice the mpg hit. Long-term, I plan on getting a hardtop RTT that...
True, plenty of factory-provided switches in the engine bay. For ease of wiring items from the bed of the truck, I put the sPod in the Leitner Pod.
That way I could run one set of cables from the battery back to the Pod and wire up lights, compressor and anything else I need. My sPod also has...
I ordered the classic.
I used a Viair with my Tacoma build. I eventually mounted it inside the cab and ran cable to my SPOD. I got tired of opening my hood every time I wanted to air up. The plan is to mount the ARB twin in a pod and wire it to an auxiliary switch or a switch in the pod. I...
Nice build! I just picked up a 2020 Raptor and will be building it up similar to yours. Leitner rack has been ordered and gear pods will house the compressor and essential gear.
Question...do you use the pod to store your compressor or did you wire it in-place in the pod? I picked up an ARB...
Have the Smittybilt RTT. Spent ~20 nights on mattress with topper. Just broke down and purchased the Exped DUO XL. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
It honestly comes down to how much time you spend sleeping in the outdoors and how much a good night sleep is worth to you. The Exped was a game changer...
Agree with all comments in the video. I've had mine for two years and had zero issues. It makes setting up lights and other accessories...easy! Mine is installed on a 2017 Tacoma and run the LCD display instead of the switch panel. But, as Mark states, you don't even think about it. It's...
Disclaimer...I used to work for one of the above mentioned companies.
Both tires are excellent off-roading choices. If you are willing to give up some on-road comfort, I recommend going with the "LT" version of either tire. The "LT" version gives you additional plies and often deeper tread...
