It's all good buddy, I'm just a big Tahoe fan, I love the looks of the ol school ones, and anytime I see one built I try and post it as encouragement for like minded others. I'm on Instagram american_scout2018 not much on Facebook don't really trust it. New to the OB family and getting my family...
It's not much but have started a decent comms center in my 04 Tahoe. I use the torque app for my truck with a ODB bluetooth and an IPAD for GPS. In the past I've always used old school road maps. I have the belstein shocks on order along with new 285/70 R17. I will post more later. Any advice is...
I have an 04 Tahoe I posted these screens shots as a inspirational and motivation for my 04, saying that these are just as good as the Toyotas. I found this pic on the internet, built up, awesome trucks. I'll post my soon.
Right, I tried to stay American the best I could, and I know a lot of guys are Taco fans and Jeepsters and both are awesome vehicles...I have a family and I have a 04 Tahoe so I'll make it work lolol and try and get it close to the same type of specs as the Toyota LC and 4runner...there are lots...
I had the 92 blazer, loved it. Yes you should a heck of a lot easier to do vs these new ones. Suspension would be awesome and only the trans and engine. Keep the engineering of the Tahoe and just upgrade not modify it would be great.
They are awesome, I see all these Toyotas and jeeps on the trails and my goal to get a Chevy out there that can at least do these trials as well. A lot still to do but I feel it'll be worth it. Starting that full overlanding life next year full time and I want it right...[emoji1]
And yes portable is fine for me as well...I do like the dual battery just not practical I der the hood... a fuse box and switch for all access would be key.
Right good decision, rebuild is better on the pocket for sure...I have seen upgrades that I will for sure do..ie: size of the transmission cooler, radiator size, deep cycle battery. Roof top tent with a black horse rack with lights and bull bar with lights. 33x12.50 3 in h tortion lift with...
Agree, but all these ARB compressors a lot of overlanders install on Jeeps and Toyotas, well there's not really a location to mount under my hood, , or tire tank on the back k, don't get it wrong absolutely doable but look up ICOn shocks for a Tahoe or Fox. Not really much choice...however...
I have a 04 Tahoe, and I'll agree it's hard to find particular parts ie: rock sliders...but as for suspension upgrades not mods..for sure it's possible. I've notice most of the Toyotas and jeeps have the approach angles as well as ground clearance but that's with Modifications. My goal is to use...
