Hi everyone,
I have a set of Rago Fabrication awning brackets for use with your 5th gen 4runner's OEM roof rack.
These have been on the truck for less than 2 months and include all original hardware plus additional washers that I purchased to install on the 4runner.
More information can be...
Hey Kent, are there any requirements to lead? I'm relatively new to OB and the forums, but happy to take ownership to help facilitate a peninsula meet-up.
Just installed the BD sports WC and wow are these things bright. They're so bright I'm almost wondering if I accidentally got sent the pros.
Regardless, these are awesome so far, and a huge difference from the oem fogs!
Ah, that could make sense. It was 97lbs for the full system, but not including the optional drawer dividers (maybe 1-2lbs at most depending on personal configuration). I also did not include the weight on the tie down straps or the metal tie down rods which could be another 2lbs?
Yup, TruckVault.com. They are pricey. I would have never considered them but I got them for cheaper than a set of ARB drawers.
Regarding weight, when I built it out on their website, it said 161lbs, but before I bought them I weighed them on a bathroom scale and they came in at 97lbs. Big...
That thing is a beast! Really nice rig. Pretty cool that you still have your vintage California license plate, and that no one took your handle name on overlandbound.
They are not DOT legal. The sports are not as bright as the pros (1800 lumens vs 4900 lumens), and I've read the sports are fine for daily driving. The pros should used for offroad only.
I'll be swapping out my fog lights for some Baja designs squadron sports, but am having a hard time deciding between the wide cornering or the driving/combo option. Can any 5th gen folks recommend which ones to get?
I was leaning towards the driving/combo because I don't anticipate doing a lot...
@Ben Kim Nice rig! Do you have a photo of the light output from inside your car? I'm going to do this mod soon but was leaning towards the driving/combo light. Curious what the cornering lights look like when on.
