I use HF (IC7100) radio on all our trips. Mainly on 14.116 mhz for the Australian travelers net.
14.116 MHz is manned from 0200 UTC daily for check ins. Call Back Time is 0300 UTC.
Also 21.185 MHz as a fall back its manned from 0400 UTC daily for check ins Call Back Time is 0500 UTC .

Reflector 30C can be quite busy. Keep in mind too the time difference. Our Saturday mornings here in Australia is Friday evenings in the US. +10 hours UTC

If anyone is interested, I monitor Reflector REF030C on the weekends if I am in range of my hotspot. Normally have the radio on from 2100 utc.

Australia has 3, New Zealand one, USA has 40 or so.

Regarding the HF frequencies ,we use them as a calling frequency. For example I am currenty out here in the bush doing a nav comm exercise and waiting for a group of hikers to call in. I can tune to 14,253mhz and put out a general CQ to fill in time...
