    Do you use your awning?

Use the awning all the time camping or even setting it up for the day for lunch. Its a Rhino Dome 1300 awning with an extension on it. They actually call it a wall but we use it mainly as an extension. Fitted to the Rhino Pioneer Platform roof rack.

HAM Radio Call Sign Check-In Thread

What we can do to start with is maybe set a few frequencies and call them the OB calling frequencies. Eg 28.333mhz, 14.283 mhz, 7.0123mhz. 146.600mhz etc. what ever works for you guys over there. Putting in some HF frequencies would allow some international members to call in and participate...

OK Cool, have to check that one out. My HF Antennas don't seem to last long on my 4WD. I have only used Multitap Antennas mounted on the bull , one snapped in half. Not by hitting branches etc but from vibration and fatigue off road for over 4 years. The replacement I am currently one I am...

    Rig mishaps

Mishaps in the Australian outback. A Recent trip through the Gibson and the Great Sandy Deserts. Burn't out FJ Cruiser 1000km from nowhere. Driving over Spinifex Grass is the danger here.
