As it stands the small group of us are leaving Bay Area JUN 22 and heading north. CA for a couple three days Mendo, Shasta etc then onto OR maybe Crater Lake, Bend, etc and into WA. Last year we took about 5 days getting in and what a blast.

Looking forward to this year's rally! Heading up from the Bay Area and taking my time getting there. I plan to explore NorCal, OR and a bit of WA along the way.

You being up some great points about gas altitude and stabilizer. After seeing the dewalt in action I'm convinced battery power is the way to go. Especially with the flexibility of multi tool capability with one battery

The easiest access was Naciemento from Jolan. HWY 1 was closed for access to Naciemento. Los Burros was to be our escape route if we had more downed trees to contend with. US Forestry and DFG heavy presence
