That would be great. Maybe a feature could be added to the OB app that shows current gas prices (even though I believe there are other apps that do that). For example I was in Death Valley a week ago, and I saw that fuel prices at the station in Furnace Creek was $7.50 gal and 25 miles further...
I won't be canceling any plans, at least because of fuel prices. Maybe because of too much damn work though. Actually I hoping that some of the more popular places are less crowded this summer. And another benefit of living in California, it gets cheaper the farther I travel.
Also check out the truck bed campers like Harker Outdoors, Super Pacific, Alucab. They fall in-between the cost of RTT and trailer. Another idea is to rent a trailer, or even a built overland vehicle and see how it fits with your wants.
Definitely check out the Crystal, Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers in Colorado. Great fishing and beautiful scenery. The Crystal mill is very scenic and a fun little drive. Lots of cool mountain towns and places to explore in the area.

I've seen several that have two of the three (fridge, sink, stove) but not...
I bought a blizzard box 41 qt refrig, Duracell powersource 660w and a Massimo 500w power station all from Costco. Plan is to return one of the battery units after testing out (probably the Duracell). Main reason I pulled the trigger on all of these was price. Blizzard Box $500, Duracell $450...
