pretty much every slightly big town has diesel along highways 1 and 5, just be sure to fill up every chance you can and every time you are going off road. the total from mexicali to los cabos is 1500 km so that is about 2-3 tanks, you wont have trouble finding 2-3 gas stations offering diesel...
Buen dia Gente
yes it is, depending on where you're going you may choose another crossing, but generally yes, Nogales it is a little crowded but they are used to handle large amount of tourists
buen dia gente

Hi there, 05 xterra owner here and I also think of my car as a "nothing too hardcore" so far I have only put 33 in tires and that is enough, but still my plans are to add a winch and skid plates and would be it for me, any mods or upgrades after that would be oriented into camping. xterras are...

thank you both for this valuable info.
we did this trip 2 years ago but using highways and in our small car, we didn't camp any night in BC, but this time we are taking our 4x4 and we do not want to spend a single night at a hostel, ok maybe the last night to take a shower. thank you very much...
it shouldn't be reason enough to not do it, just bring the appropiate clothing, all the central-south area in Mexico is high in altitud, Mexico City is very high, that is why is very cold but beautiful forests. Someone else mention the Copper Canyon, that is at the border of states of Chihuahua...
Hi Everybody, greeting from Mexico
we are planning to do this trip by September October 2019, any of you have a map for the surrounding area of Whistler, where we can see roads and places that would be legal to remote camp? dispersed camping, backcountry camping etc.
Thanks
