Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply to you - I’m not often on here and don’t think I ever got a notification for your message.
The solution is in development and I’ll be looking for some beta testers sooner or later depending on where you are located or travelling.
I’d be happy to chat a...
Hello OB family,
Many of you spend time in the backcountry, in off-grid and remote areas, and I thought some of you might be willing to help me as I do some market research.
I am looking for people who play or work off-grid, in the backcountry to participate in a 30 minute market research...
Wow! On your way back? We’ll be glad to have you back.
Make sure you do a stretch on the north shore of the St. Lawrence between Gaspé and Québec City - way nicer than the south shore.
I’m a fan of Sandbanks PP in Eastern Ontario and the trip along the shores of Lake Superior is amazing, but...
Here’s an area where I do have some expertise - I’m actually a Hazardous Materials technician;
The issue with a “traditional” vertical propane tank is that all the fittings, including the pressure relief valve are in the upper part of the tank, which is the vapour space of the tank.

Agreed, that would make a difference, both in insulating value and in power supply.
That said, a good insulating camping mattress or RTT mattress on the bottom and a good upper later would do the same. I would not want to have too much between the mattress/pad and my body however.

Thanks in advance.

I’m just starting to wrap my head around the trip so I won’t be able to offer much right now, but I will most definitely keep an eye out...
That was a hell of a rack @MixedNuts :D

What about a picnic area in Assiniboine Park? It’s a fantastic idea! We will likely not be there for that meetup since we’ll be on our first big road trip of the year.
