Yep, new paint job is gonna be one of many upgrades. Camper is in solid shape but we're planning on some serious changes inside, the engine runs great except for the overtorqued valve covers barfing oil everywhere.
Bought it!
'82 f250 with a massive camper shell. Needs some stiffer leaf springs in the rear, new valve covers and some serious wiring work, but for $3500 it's a good starting point with solid bones.
Absolutely, my schedule is flexible other than 3-6 Monday thru Wednesday. Email me at joseph@redpropellers.org and let's set something up.

Hi all,
Seems there's a surprisingly large concentration of OB members in the bay area, I've seen a fair few OB badged rigs around.
As I've progressed on my build, I've found that as it isn't a common platform for offroad builds (Volvo XC70) there have been a number of parts I've had to design...

When I first started lurking these forums it seemed like everyone had these amazing, crazy built rigs and I assumed that must mean I need one two.
Now, after hitting some of the more serious OHV trails in the Mojave with a bone stock old Volvo wagon on my last trip, I realize...

It's finally home from the shop with most of the engine replaced. Between that and the new trans a year ago, hoping it won't give me any trouble for a while. All clean and shiny, time to start the build then get it out in the mud!
Next up: RTT, drawer-style kitchen and storage in the back, and a...
Hi all,
Hopefully picking the Volvo up from the shop tomorrow, looking forward to getting this build started.
I'm looking to buy a roof tent, and I'm planning on dedicating all the roof space to it. I'd prefer not to have one of the "fold-out" tents as they seem like a pain to set up, not to...
Hi There!

A few weeks back, I bought my dad's old '04 Volvo XC70 off him for $500 when the mechanic told him it wasn't worth fixing and he bought a Crosstrek.
Well, I grew up in that car, and it's the first car I ever drove...
