Bouncer,
Those constraints are individual, and can only be assessed by the person. I was meaning there are many different classes, offered to people of all skill sets. I know many that want to learn but do not because they are not aware classes and training programs exist.
Another point worth making, just because you have the gear DOES NOT MEAN YOU KNOW HOW IT IS USED! Don't know how to suture? maybe shouldn't pack a suture kit. You can make a situation worse by using items you do not how to use properly. That being said, there isn't anything keeping you from...
One of the reasons I got the Jeep that I did was i plan on doing as much of the work myself as possible. unless it requires a specific expensive tool or will take more then a weekend or so i try most things myself. between Google, various forums, and YouTube, there isn't much that has not been...
Interesting! I have made biltong before and loved it! the recipe was a little different then this but I am excited to taste the difference. The summers here in the American Southwest are great for making biltong. Also venison and elk are greats meats to use as well! Thank you for sharing!
Jason
I think they do? I couldn't find them on the website but I also didn't look very hard. If your particular store has them they would be in the same area with the EMT couplings and connectors.
Another good idea is adding these to the ends of the conduit. reduces sharp edges and such.

Labor day I put a set of these on my XJ. So far only got about 3000-4000 miles but I love them so far. Great quiet driving on paved roads, including freeway. I am also happy with the off road capabilities, although I have not pushed them super hard in that area yet, and I have not encountered...
OUTSTANDING! I have been looking for something similar for a while now. Of course I will have to adapt to fit a Jeep Cherokee XJ. When I can get everything finalized I will post the differences.
i agree with Kevin. It looks bad, but without digging into it, it looks superficial and you should be able to source most of the parts on ebay or a local junk yard. Granted getting the color to match may take a while but I think it could be done.
Nice Cherokee! I love my '98. When looking for bumpers/tire carriers etc. remember you get what you pay for. And research, research research. I personally went with RockHard bumper. It came with tire carrier, a spot to attach a high lift jack, d-ring attachment points, trailer hitch, and they...
Eric,
Of course! I love the southern part of the state (one of the biggest reasons why i hunt there) and want everyone who encounters it to love it as much as I do!
Depending on when you plan on making the trip, the area around Ruby Road and Arivaca will have more people then usual. Until mid to late January will still be deer season in that area so finding camping areas "might" be a bit tough, or may not. At least you will have the heads up.
I would love to do this run, but wont have the time until beginning of next year. I hunt in 36b pretty regularly so the proximity to the boarder doesn't bother me. While I probably could do this trip, I would like to do it with a group for the first time at least
