I don't think they have modified suspention for the most part. Wheel adapters I believe for some so they can run a larger tire for backspacing and similar bolt pattern to the tow vehicle.

Nice fozzy!
They make extended length cargo baskets (64" or so) and wider along with bags that fit the full size, or use the bins you have on a larger rack for more space.
Additionally a hitch basket could work, but I would say to look for have duty rear springs, or a bigger rear spacer to...
I started with a full size, bring the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and everything else! But while you could bring everything, the effiency and scale really limited going totally off the beaten path, but it was built to got a week or two self contained with water, power heat etc so full 4 season...
Security is a concern. So all the valuable things are stored in the bed, which locks, and with the basket atop, really can't remove items as it's all screwed down.
But if somewone wants my dirty clothes and pooper, well, I uh don't know what to say. LOL

I just started buying liquid eggs... Im clumsy and broke many eggs, even in those plastic containers. And I usually scramble my eggs anyway, so two birds, one stone.

You would likely want at least 100w per house battery. 150w would be good for just one battery as that's a little bigger in a pannel, but will give you more capacity. About 50 amps per day you would collect.
When I had my camper I had 400w to two batteries. I live in the NW so not all sunny...
I have a diesel. I planned on a lighter, long distance rig. With all the services so far, I'm at about $.16 per mile. So a 1000 mile trip costs about $160 for fuel and services that will be needed. It's a new rig, so services are a little more expensive, but they are pretty spread out over...
I went with a basket and then a waterproof cargo bag. I don't want heavy things mounted atop, so clothes, bedroll, shoes, portable toilet, and other lighter, but bulky items get thrown in the cargo bag.

On board air has been added. ARB single mounted in my Colorado with an under expantion tank mount from 589 fabrication.

I have a cargo basket and some truck bed stays and bars from INNO on my Colorado. It's an affordable way to get racks and tiered storage and it's universal, so should work for your Dakota.

My last truck was an F350 dually, with the two boss package 4.30 gears, and nearly 4tons. Best I could do was 14mpg. And with a 38gal tank, for a while when the pumps were still set to shut off at $75 it was always sticker shock. But it would go for a while on that range, so I forgot about the...
I just placed my order for one and some rock sliders.
Attended the NW overland rally where that had a clinic on how to use that high lift, lift mate, and winch kit to jack up, cast and winch your truck. It was really great to take that and get some hands on time with trained professionals on...
2017 Colorado Diesel. Just got back from Oregon, about 150 through the Backcountry the rest were highways and some interstate. And it has a range of 500+ on most drives so no need to really worry too much about next fuel stop.

Gave my Colorado a dust bath.
Also go diesel! 150 miles of fire roads and another 900 of highways, switchbacks and interstate. And never gentle on the throttle. :)

Yeah, I've been pretty busy with it. All the major bits are on my buildprint page.

Me and a few mates headed up there this past weekend. Was still snowed in on the trails so didn't make it to the lake yet. Will be looking forward later in the summer when I can make it through and camp up top. Otherwise an awesome trail :)

Took the dog for a walk up in the mountains. Haven't explored this part of the forest south of where I live, so had a nice morning of it. Stopped and picked some garbage left along the road in a few spots.
I had a route planned that would basically take me from my place to the west side of the...
