I’m heading up tomorrow 8/1 and plan on running Deer from North to south (88 to 4). Probably won’t be on the trailhead until noon or so. Will be in a green Wrangler lifted and locked. Also just my daughter and myself.

I will add my limited experience with a friend's RTT on his FJ Cruiser. As others have pointed out, there is a lot of up and down when setting up and breaking down and RTT setup. My issue is mostly around my personal height. At 5-4, the hassle of dealing with it being that high up was just flat...

I highly suggest going out highway 168 from Fresno and look up around Huntington Lake. Several campgrounds in the general area and a lot of things to see and do. Not a bad drive from here either. (I'm in Gilroy)
