At the workshop finishing up the repairs on the Trooper .. and today is Tsiknopemti, a religious festival where they grill meat. Gotta love a workshop that has a bbq in the back !

Also travelling by ferry with a vehicle isn’t fast … so expect to spend a day or two longer than you expected on the small islands , don’t be in a rush. Some island (like my Folegandros), don’t be surprised if you never want to leave.

Island hopping in a overland rig would be very cool .. many of the islands have off the beaten tracks and hidden beach’s … just stay away from Santorini or Mikinos .. or any of the islands with excessive tourism .. parking the rig and hiking!

It’s taken over my free time on my phone … which is a good thing !

I think a lot of people are waking up to the reality that “free” social media apps come with a hidden price… and our desire to connect has been used for profit and to manipulate. I hope OB stays like The Great Outdoors.. a natural place to connect, learn and grow.

Over the last few days I have spent way more time on OB than all the other social media apps, and its a lot more useful.. would OB be considered social media?

Getting the trooper services and mechanically sorted .. hopefully will go on first overland trip this spring !

Nothing specific ... but as I have been looking at all the cool overlanding and camping products coming out of the US I am trying to find resources and distributors here in Europe, and Greece. Trying to ship stuff from the US seems to be a pain.
