  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

    2012 ford svt Raptor

I actually don't know the brand, my father in law ordered and gave it to me. I can take more pictures of it sure and the box it came in. But I believe there is no name on the prod uct itself.

    2012 ford svt Raptor

Not necessarily an offroad addition, but now I have a place to put the side arm when getting back into the rig. No more pinching or fighting to keep the seat belt off my side arm.

    Nature Photos

Had myself an adventure in Eastern Idaho, found 3 cabins that had collapsed on themselves, and we found a couple mines. It was just beautiful. You could actually see the tetons.

Took off my roof top tent today, along with my rack, and tool box. My rig is going in for surgery this weekend. Also cleaned my garage.

    Girlfriend Compromise Site Help!

This was also something that my wife and I compromised with. We started with a 5 gallon bucket, several bags filled with cat litter and diapers lol. Odd I know but it works pretty well. We also had a pop up privacy shelter, but it didn't last so we started using it in the Annex. We did however...

US Northwest My Emily Summit day trip and picnic

La grande is a ways off, normally we would head towards diamond lake and then up to bend then across the desert. But as it sits now all the passes are closed except I 84 heading east

US Northwest My Emily Summit day trip and picnic

Glad to see the smoke is starting to clear. We are coming through that area next weekend on our trip back to Idaho. Right now thats pretty much the only way east thats open right now. Looks like a great time, might have to organize a southern Oregon picnic meet up

    Campground or Boondock?

We are half and half. I totally enjoy being out and away from everything. My wife on the other hand has problems with predators. And living in the pnw we do have mountain lions, bears, newly discovered wolves, bobcats, etc. So sometimes we find ourselves in a site. Especially if we are pushing...

High Density Roof Top Tent Mattress

We use an anti condensation mat under our mattress, not that it adds comfort to the mattress. But it does keep mattress dry. It is actually stuck to the floor with double sided outdoor tape to keep it secure. We also use a foam topper too, its only a 1.25 inch topper. It works for me quite well...

    California Fires and Ash

We had a 2 fires turn into a big fire on Tuesday. Approx 30 miles away. In the photo I was really trying to get the orange red hue to show thru the camera. I took this photo at 5 ish. Should have had plenty of sunshine. And just 3 hours earlier we had blue skys. I hope your local fire fighter's...

Running trails solo as an overlander

I've been doing more solo trips with my spouse than group trips. The nice thing about solo trips is you don't have to wait on anyone but you, the breakdowns your dealing with are your own. We've actually come to really enjoy going on our own. We do take alot of precautions. We map out our route...

    What is the best winch

I was in this thought process not too long ago. After weighing the pros and cons of each line I decided to go with a steel cable winch. Less maintenance, lasts alot longer. I also purchased a rough country 12000 lb winch. I picked that winch partially due to the hidden winch plate that I wanted...

    Overlanding Raptor

I've actually really enjoyed your build thread, you have put a lot of time and resources into that setup and it shows. How is your rig holding up to overlanding?

Looking for reviews on double sleeping bags

My wife and i bought a teton sports zero degree bag. I really like it. Only complaint I have is it doesn't live in the rooftop tent. Its too thick. Otherwise its perfect. We don't intend to use it next to the fire or on the ground tho.

Is overlanding my 2007 F-150 worth it?

I had an 05 f150 with the 5.4 in it before I bought my raptor. I never had the spark plug issues, but ive heard horror stories about it. 150 bucks a plug if they break off. I did have a vacuum issue with the hubs. Replaced the iwe silinoid on the firewall and it fixed that issue. Id say keep it...

    2012 ford svt Raptor

I'll be honest, I hate that tent that goes in the bed of the truck. I froze my butt off every time I used it. And yeah unloading the truck is a pain in the butt especially if you brought firewood. But I also left my tool box in there so that might have changed the tent up a bit. My wife...
