    RTT - Hardshell vs Softshell???

I have a 23zero Walkabout. No complaints about the tent. Wife hates the mattress, and having to climb out. A memory foam topper fixed one of the two issues for her. My only issue is the base camp side of it. It's not as quick as anyone ever hopes. I can still set up and tear down a classic...

2017 Subaru Forester XT Touring - fast offroad tourer

The primitive rear diff skid is Crazy easy to install. I ran one on my Crosstrek and it took longer to jack it up then to install, no swearing required.

    Very bad day

If the code is B2102 there is lots of info on every jeep forum. Most common issue seems to be bad fuel pump. Even though the code is not technically for that. Check the fuel pressure at the rail. Could even use a little starting fluid and see if it kicks over to confirm the old school way...

    OB Approved Members Spotted Thread

Pretty random that the first member I see in the wild after actually becoming a member is OB # 0000 himself. Northbound on 680 through Sunol half an hour ago. Safe travels.

    Motorcycle overlanding.

Such a different experience, it's hard for some people to understand, but combine riding with nature and it's pretty close to perfection.

Dometic Fridge in Pickup Bed and Bear Country

So we can all agree that the right thing to do is use a bear proof container to store any food when in bear country. But, what is the real, logistically possible answer. I have a 60 qt. on a slide in the bed of my Gladiator. I keep camp clean, keep the fridge clean, and its covered when not...

    RESOLVED Viair compressor issue

Viair calls for a 40 amp relay, with a max draw of 23 amps. I bet the start up on the .25 hp motor draws very close to 30 at start up, maybe more depending on temp.

    Jeep Gladiator Mileage Question

From one heavy Gladi owner to another, slow down. I'm on 35s, 3.73s with a sail of a 23zero on top, and I average 15-17 fully loaded, keeping it under 70. If I manually shift it into 8th on the flats it will pull 18-19, but I really have to behave. Gears will make a difference, as it will...
