Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I needed more room in my tj, and tried a roof rack. I really wasn't that happy...even moreso now that it is setting in my driveway. So I decided it was time to build a overland trailer. I looked at the little harbor freight trailer and decided most of it would have to be replaced. I looked...
I recently removed my roof rack and decided I need a trailer. I cannot decide on what size to go with. I've been thinking about a 40"x48" or a 3'x5'. I primarily need room for a cooler and luggage. And some kayaks. It will be pulled by a Jeep TJ. Regardless it needs to be light weight.

Seems to be working fine, my charging cord was bad, so I am coming up with another option. I do format my sd card every other day. Considering turning off the lock feature. Thanks for the help

I only carry the sockets I need for my rig. This reduces what I need. Then I use the small plastic drill/driver bit boxes from dewalt or Milwaukee. I keep one box metric one standard, and 1 for extensions
Just did the black hills this year, it was great. As for Moab...it is a must do! I did it by myself my first year, it was ok. Every time since then has been with 2 jeeps. Much more fun.
