Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Hello Josef,
Welcome. That is a very capable rig, but not very popular with Overlanders. Offroaders however are loving it.
If you like to do daytrips and other Overlanding events in the Netherlands or Europe, just contact me.
I do a lot of trips here around. Camping, culture and all...
As we have for our guests our attic were two families (a bit crowded then but hey a tent is less spacious) and the Trailer for two persons. And others up to 4 or 5 Rigs can stay in our garden.
But. Mihal and wife like to come and are looking for a B&B. I found one which looks very nice, but...

Long time quiet here. I was posting somewhere else but hey. Here I need to post as well I guess.
Well, as far as we know, the problem with the Jeep is solved and we are till now very happy again.
Using 5 liter less per 100km is something that is a side effect that is very welcome nowadays...
So, after our trip to the Salisbury Plains it was obvious that there was a need for more protection under the car. So here is my second skid plate.
Does the transmission and the exhaust part of the car.
first part, everything roughly to fit and then were the reinforcements has to be.
And here...
Hello Oliver,
We start in the morning and gather at a local Grand Cafe in Vorden. So coffee and such is there.
Lunch is half way in a restaurant.
So, there aint much to bring, except for good fun.
Thanks for asking.
Next little thing,
At this moment I do have two RSVP's, one really as an RSVP one member and a friend, and one by PN.
For those who like to join, please hit the RSVP button.
That makes it clear to anyone that a spot is taken.
Thank you.
For all who are interested, please note that this is not an Offroad event. We are driving just simple roads, lanes, backroads, tarmac and non tarmac.
The goal is the have a great day out and not having any challenges.
The area we are driving through is pretty enough to have just a nice day out.
It was two days of work, last weekend and today. But we managed to make a set of rocksliders for @wilderwhere / Jan his Jeep.
They look mostly the same as mine.
I think he will be happy when they are under the car. Especially for our trip to the UK/Salisbury Plains. This one orgenised by Leann...
Todays work made the skid plate almost complete.
Tomorrow just making brackets for the front bolts and spacers to hold the plate firmly at its place.
Only downside was that I broke a bolt in the frame. That has to come out tomorrow as well.
After a lot of welding, including fixing a minor...
And today I did work again a bit on the body protection project.
Yesterday we did fit my rocksliders to the Jeep of @wilderwhere and it fits like a charm.
So now I can just replicate my sliders twice and we are good.
Today I started with making the engine skid plate. I took @wilderwhere his OEM...
The following weeks I will make two sets of Rocksliders for Jan and Damaris their Jeeps.
And also some skid plates for all of our Jeeps.
The materials are there and my rocksliders are from the car, so I can use them as a template.
Ok, short but great. our trip with Outlaw_family_adventures and Chris and Keiko.
Our special trip in the area of Airbase Volkel. We just had a great time.
So, last weekend I did help Adrian with his rocksliders/stepping boards.
It took a while longer as thought as we had to adjust way more ass planned. But in the end it all worked out fine.
Hed did all the work except the grinding, welding and drilling.
First cleaning up and taking of the old...
