I have ironman shocks and coils with a 2” lift (on a Toyota Fortuner) and I haven’t had any issues. I’ve put around 40k km (25k mi) on them in all sorts of terrain. I’ve heard both great and bad stories so maybe it’s a quality control issue.

We've had a few close up animal encounters at camp over the years but this one stands out. 2008 Khutse game reserve, Botswana. We had these two boys in the middle of camp 01:00 in the morning, calling away. There is nothing quite like waking up to two big male lions roaring literally a few feet...

I've had my 440 for a few years now, it's been all over South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique and I'm really happy with it. Only thing I might still change is a bat-wing awning instead of the standard L-shape canvas.
