You'll note it works like waze and other nav apps. You have the option of not allowing it. Forums and everything else works without it. The only difference is that the app will not know where you are, and will not center on your location when adding locations, rally points, opening the map etc...

Glad you are using the online meetup! The system starts to get shaky knees if we invite too many. A 50 invite limit also prevents spamming too many people. You can currently see the limit on web. Perhaps we need to add this to mobile?
