  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

    Pop up conversion

I have a small pop up I use a lot, the axle was upgraded from PO and 31 super swappers installed seems to be holding up ok so far, I plan to get rid of the axle completely this winter and add the axleless suspension, while I'm in there I will also reinforce areas which look weak.

    Overlanding Hummer...

I don't believe any of the vehicles made up for Overlanding are to climb walls if that was the case that large F750, Unimog, and earth roamers wouldn't be in the hobby. It amazes me how much an H2 or H3 gets bad press, the H2 allows for 37-inch tires without a lift, upgrade some steering...

Since owning it I found it to be a great vehicle MPG are about the same as many of the vehicles out there I get around 15 on highway not bad for 2500 chassie my...

What's your MPG (fuel economy) on the road.

1971 Landcruiser FJ40 gets around 12-13 no matter how fast its going and the H2 gets around 14 on the highway, hand calculated. Funny everyone says these H2 are so bad with fuel but reading through this entire thread seems it is right on par with the same vehicles of size and weight.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

With my Fj40 about solid and needing nothing now "give it a few weeks," I decided to pick up another vehicle to build up for some newer technology and comfort, after lots of researching and seeing ridiculously prices for really high mileage vehicles I decided on this H-2 with really low miles...
