Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I too use MY RADAR, and like it a lot. It's good for knowing what is coming at you and how quickly....it is not so good at a multi day into the future forecasting.
Bruce, Bruce, Bruce.......fellow Colorado resident.......you are still trying to predict the weather around here?
I'm interested to see what folks recommend as well, I don't have any suggestion that is any better than what you are currently doing, LOL.
For computer access and best...
I am going to have to get down there....this just moved up the must do list! But that is one skinny bear.....around here they are just a bit bigger
I have the Inreach mini and like it in spite of my general disdain for all things Garmin, LOL. It is relatively simple, works well, and you can turn on and off on the subscription plan if you are going to be idle for a month or more.
Hmmmm, roof racks and cheap don't go together much, lol. Take a look at Gamiviti Racks.....made in Denver area, AWESOME products and customer service...I don't see a Sequoia specific one, but think that the Series 1 Land Cruiser one might yours also......could check with them. The other...
Neal, Frito...........
Do we want to make this a "project" to investigate? I've been looking around the Encampment area as I said, and have been meandering virtually on maps and Gaia. I intend to go up that way myself once snow clears and temps come back up. Up for an off line chat maybe?
Well, that sucks about Roam......and it just is in keeping with the general lack of customer service/support that companies that are re-sellers have vs. those that actually MAKE the product. Buyer beware. That truly sucks about Roam, whom I thought to be better than that.
