  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

    OB1 app "Bug" reports ONLY

Just downloaded the app update...IOS. I then posted to a thread...in that thread only, I see my reply but as I scroll back to see prior posts it cycles and takes me back several pages to post #1 of that thread. This only happens in the thread I posted in.

US Rocky Mountain Back-country Discovery Routes – Utah/Colorado

I've had some things pop up, and I will NOT be able to join on this. I was a Week 1 Colorado only guy. Sorry, and bummed.

    Newbie

Hey David! I'm not too far from you up by Rifle. We should connect some time and see if any of our plans align. And don't invite anyone to move over here, we have enough......

COBDR Route Timing for a July '22 Run

Throw out some rough dates/days of the week type info for where you''ll want to start/finish and we can perhaps offer some alternatives for you to consider. I'm sure Neal will chime in as well.

COBDR Route Timing for a July '22 Run

Neal speaks the truth. If clicking off the BDR is the goal, that's fine. If you'd like to see more, and perhaps travel less, I think we can help. There is SO much here, and the BDR really is a path across the state, not necessarily through the best the state has to offer. It's up to you which...

1975 K5 -- someone talk me off the ledge!

No, you are not. I had a '72 K5 and LOVED it. That '75 is super simple, but you'll want to carefully inspect for rust on the body and frame, and then figure out that fueling issue. It might be good to consider the cost of a new/rust free tank, replacement lines, and a new fuel pump of course...

    Headed West

Andrew, Here is a link to the BDR website....BDR Each state is continuous, but for the most part they are not connected together as one continuous muliti state route. However, in many cases they aren't all that far apart either...How's that for a vague answer. Look around the site and you can...

    Wyoming trip

The BDR (Backcountry Discovery Route) series was the brainchild of Butler Maps. They are primarily a motorcycle mapping provider. They have developed several routes through several states. The Wyoming route was just published this month, so there probably isn't much third party info on...

Not the most "ruggedized" one out there, but we love it. NuCamp Tag Boondock. It was my wife's choice, consequently it's perfect

    Wyoming trip

Sweet, THANK YOU!! I'm off to the map books again! LOL Edit, I missed your question on first read.....I am a 20 year retired volunteer firefighter on the western slope of Colorado....much of that time ( 12 years) my paying job was as a police officer......then, I spent about 8 years-ish in the...
