Jason, Did they put a relay on the starter when they did the conversion? The FJ80 (1992) does not have a relay.

We just came back from a 25 days 9000 miles trip across the US. 26 states, $1300 for 406 gallons of diesel (22 mpg). One of the switches in the TC dies so we lost 4WD. Still had low range 2WD so did not take extreme chances. We bought food 3 times and filled the 28 gallons 4 times. Hot...

As I said, I don’t have much experience with the 200. We have 3 40s, a 60 and an 80. Except one 40, they are all Toy diesel.

I would stay with the 18” rims. Your tires are a bit less then 31.5” tall. You can go with BFG KO2 285/65R18 which are great tires on/off road and are a bit more then 1” bigger. I’m not very familiar with the 200 series but you may get away with it. Worst case only a small lift should take...
