Yes its a commercial campground, but its right next to the mountain bike trails. Im in A26 primitive area. If anyone wants to join and do some trail riding and driving some forest service roads.

We will do a camp out in October for sure. Probably closer to the North end closer to the Mt bike trails. Ill post up. Also, Hick Hop will be in November. And yeah, Kristi never met a stranger. She gets along with most everyone, especially children.

I've been hosting this get together for 5 years now. Camping, trail riding, hanging out, cooking, night time bourbon sampling and making Old Fashioned. Oh, and can't forget a little Hick Hop music. Past few years has been at Colson Group Camp. Plenty of room, pit toilet, large fire pit...

I doubt we camp this time, but I am looking forward to getting down on the south end. Very seldom get much past Golden Pond.

Thanks. Yeah, I plan to keep it. Need to change the gears to 4:88 and do some maintenance. I had rather drive it & pull the teardrop with it than the 04. Plus I want to keep the 04 completely reliable as the daily. Big tires & extra weight takes a toll on the ol fuel mileage.

1997 we have owned for 17 years. Sonoran Steel 1.2a lift. 285/75 BFG ATs.ARB on board compressor. Homemade rear drawers using old surplus wooden ammo boxes. 220k miles. Love this truck, on our last trip though we did use the 04 runner. The 4.7 sure handles the teardrop better. May be time to...

Congrats. Bought an ARB fridge last month for the teardrop. So much better than messing around with ice. Still have the cooler for inside the 4runner, but if budget ever permits there will be a fridge there too.

BTW, if its not already reserved you could get Colson Group Camp, its $50 for the whole weekend, has a pit toilet and a large fire pit and some tables.

So hey, Im on the north end of LBL nearly every weekend.May try to meet up with you guys for a day or maybe camp. Have a camp spot picked yet? Done a lot of the 300 series roads and Im pretty adamant about staying to the trail and not causing any more damage if possible. Lots of people come up...

ARB and fortunately have only used on other folks stuff so far.

Hello from Paducah KY. 97 4runner and 2017 SoCal Teardrop. Just got back from camping Mt Pisgah on Blueridge Parkway and Mt biking at DuPont State Forest. Just before that a trip down the entire Blueridge and different camping each night.
