    Dual Battery System

Eh Oldfooladventures Moak, you would have a wiring diagram for that KISS method would you? I like quality and impleness, I am also visual :) I got a 1978 dodge with a 360 and want duals. one day I'll get a 200+ battery but for now I'll run the 125 - 150s they at least start the engine great.

Been awhile, haven't done much. Went to Vegas, lived in my truck, Fired my shot gun for the First time on Christmas. Worked on a farm till may now I'm back in Yellowstone. Truck got me up here but the torque converter drains out because the pump is bad so it leaks. I'm not driving it around the...

    Vehicle Tools (Merged thread)

With you here. Maintenance and knowing you rig is a big one. I got my grab box and then I got my other three boxes that have all the other special stuff. Get to know your rig and what tends to slip up when you're on the trail.

I noticed you don't have a tire on your spare wheel. Do you have a reason for this?

Outfitting and Piecing together a '78 Dodge W200

I've been busy and lazy recently. Been able to do some work on the truck though that has me happy. So took the hood off to replace the old worn out exhaust manifolds. makes it quieter for sure. Seeing my radiator and battery wiggle down the dirt road was unnerving but like every other day they...

    Ram 1500

Thanks Conrad. So Lockers is like adding poisi? That would be a nice up grade, at least for the rear. I'll do some more research.

    Overlanding is not Elitist!

Had a Short conversation with a girl about cars. Said she doesn't want to own one because cars are irresponsible. She had several reasons for this but one I'll tell you. The guys with truck that don't use them as trucks. 90% of the time my truck is empty but he's my daily driver. I agree with...

Full size in deed. I haven't seen everyones rig on here but it's interesting to see so few older rigs or even full size newer trucks.

Outfitting and Piecing together a '78 Dodge W200

In the last four years I've done some things to the truck when money allows. Most recently was the extra tank, and fuel selector valve, new master cylinder, spark plug wires and new carb. Yesterday I got my front driveline back from being rebuilt. I broke one on the way here and the original the...

    Overlanding is not Elitist!

And even if you can't get Aftermarket parts or you're too cheap. You can all ways build your own. I was and am a Dodge snob but every rig has their points and I will respect your choice while defending mine.

    West Coast...ambulance?

maintenance intensive: sometimes loud: depending uncomfortable: depending parts can be impossible to find: depending I'm with ABCanuck, way easier to work on than new rigs, that rig has a inline six a a one barrel carb and four on the flour, assuming. Low center of gravity is a plus, doesn't...
