Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I'm traveling from Bakersfield starting Wednesday and plan to overnight around Redding. Should be passing Sacramento around 1300 hrs Wednesday. Will arrive at the PNW Expo Thursday.
I'm 66 and still in reasonable shape. I have a Turtleback Expedition with a 23 Zero 56 on the top. Like all men later in life, I have to get up at least a couple of times during the night. The RTT is incredible stable with rear landing pads on the trailer. I'm really careful to make sure that...
I lived in Pinecrest and am well familiar with this area. I'm planning a longer trip here on Eagle Meadows road and beyond, and would appreciate any reconnaissance/ excellent on sights, trails and dispersed camping. I have been to Eagle Meadows in 40 years.

Wish I could have waited a couple of months but didn't know how long it would take the wheels of bureaucracy to turn and needed to be legal for this weekend with GMRS. Glad that they made the fees for this more reasonable.
