Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Can anyone recommend where to get some rock sliders? Preferably local (within a couple states) that don't have 6-8 week lead time and somewhere between $500-$600? and bolt-on, It's for my 2015 taco double-cab.
I've looked at most the recommendations from taco world forum, but it looks like...
I think it's more of a legal/licensing issue, since you have to have different permits for HAM vs GMRS or none for CB. Also, I think you can pickup most frequencies with HAM but you're not permitted to transmit since you're overpower (I think that's why, anyways, but I don't have my HAM license...
The whole spectrum... I'm only running GMRS Currently, but I'll be putting in a CB soon. @britz I think is running HAM and CB, Paul is running CB, @Sandpoint Steve is running HAM. @Captain Chaos is running CB & HAM, @chuckoverland is running GMRS... Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. So it's a...
Welcome to OB! We're leaving for Silver Lake at 12:30! :)
CDA national forest isn't far for close trips, I also like to spend time up at Priest Lake.
Definitely join or start your own rally points. Follow the NW forum too.
Good luck on your rig, hope to see you out there!

Instead of taking the 2nd right on the trail I sent you, stick to the left and follow it all the way. There's a big area for lots of parking (you can camp there too but it gets pretty windy). Then you hike up the trail about a mile, you'll cross a small stream. Bring bear spray as there is skat...
Anyone know if there are any fire restrictions currently there? I'll try to find out ahead of time, but may not get a chance.
TIA

@chuckoverland Man! That's scary and creepy AF! I've never had a problem up there, but that being said I don't leave my truck alone usually unless I'm in one of the "official" campsites. Tweakers are everywhere!! I hear ya on considering a gun, I'm just not sure if that'd actually help or make...
I'll be getting off work at noon on Friday in the Spokane Valley.
People leaving from Spokane want to meet at the Applebees on Pines and I90 at 12:30?
I've got one extra GMRS for anyone who needs it.
Thanks!
