    Are Dometic CF-25's ever on sale? Is it worth buying used/refurb?

    I only ran mine when on a trip. I had a dual battery system so I was not worried about running the battery running down. The fridge also has a low voltage cut off as not to kill the battery.

    I've read this was a good GMRS hand held. This radio has 5 watts vs most of the little radios 2 watts.
