It's official. We should be closing on our new house in Boca Raton in January. My wife starts her new job December 6th. I'll be moving down there late February. The adventure begins!

WOW! I like how much thought is going into this project.

I think I'd like to snag something to put my own touch on, but I'd want it to be somewhat roomy and comfortable. I think I'd grab an M1078 and build it up with superb creature comforts but I'd still have it maintain it's military edge in appearances.

There were times I was submerged above my hubs, but I wouldn't characterize it as a rough trail. The Gladiator had an aftermarket lift on it and broke a heim joint. With our tools, he was able to get it apart and knock it together, and then put everything back. That trail out that goes under...

This is a pretty cool project. I'm a Ford person through and through, but I remember seeing one of these as a teenager badged up as a Peterbilt and I fell in love with it. Overlanding will be a cool use!
