Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
My compressor has a head pressure cut=off valve but I also wanted to have a pressure valve on the tank. It will shut off the compressor at 110psi which is fine for most air tanks. Really never happened as you're pumping in air and the pressure would hardly get to the max psi. Mine was a standard...
Congrats to you and thank you for what you do. I was a campground host at a primitive park and also did trail maintenance, cleaning and grass cutting. Just helping folks get launched into the river and made sure they had maps and information to get down to the camps. Sort of a "jack of all...
This was my Taco. 2.5 gallon tank on the back wall of the camper. Worked well and was happy with it.
Honestly did not help with speed tho. GPH moves air and most compressors are limited.
Have a cup of coffee while you're airing up and down and enjoy the day.

You'll love it. I"ve worked for the USFS last year and enjoyed the adventure. You have to love people if your attending to them and sometimes they can be a handful.
Good luck and keep us informed.

Well the journey is almost over. We're grounded now in Southern Missouri and suffering a very bad winter. LOL. I'm a Eagle Scout and found myself very unprepared for this weather towing a travel trailer. Surprising because we've lived through several bad winters here with subzero weather into...
I'd watch a few "Mountain State" overland episodes. I've never seen more use of recovery gear than those folks with the exception of "Matts Off Road Recovery".
If you're preparing for an expedition that tells me you've been on some serious week long trials. If not you probably need some "week...
Firestone AT2. Great tire, nice ride. Handling the snow well as of now. Had it in the forest in a little mud and worked fine.
$1100 for all out the door. Got to work with them and get a deal.

Solar power goes thru the charge controller and to the battery. I draw power from the battery to a fuse box and also to charging ports. 12 total. Not a problem.

If you drive hard on the trails I would not. Hwy or gentle cruising along good secondary roads would probably.
Best thing would purchase the right offset wheels.
Remember the weight of that vehicle corner has been moved away from the vehicle and supported by less than .5" studs and a .5" boss...
Nature provides my entertainment. I've never been bored looking at a fire, mountain, stream or lake.
However, after 635 nights in the camper I've been known to play rummy to 500.
