Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Would love to know if it fits. I had mine on the roof rack for a while then got a Wilco Tire carrier for the hitch as at 62 I'm not getting any stronger with getting the tire up and down form the roof. I have my 225/65 R17 KO2's on stock rims. Rear spare is on a steel rim.
Sounds great would enjoy meeting some members north of the border. The starting of trip will be up in the air for a bit. Might have to move the start to mid July for family circumstances. I'll keep this post going with additional information throughout the year.
That was his in the photos, that is a sweet bumper they built for him. I contacted them and they can buld a similar one for my Outback. How does he like it? Does he like the work they did?
ADF lifts are great, I have a 2" front and 2 3/8" rear on my '17 Outback and it has been great. I just installed some 30% stiffer OEM height King springs to carry the rear tire carrier and camping gear weight. Then I removed the rear sway bar. Still rides like a champ. Love it with this setup...

I put a Pnavise in dash mount in my Outback and I really like it. Here is the link to the mount for your FJ.

OK, next up added to my navigation. I already use a Garmin Montana that mounts on the windshield in a suction mount. Just trying a larger screen with a 9.5" iPad in a Panavise in-dash mount running Gaia. I found a arm for the mount that also is adjustable (45 degrees) so I can have it facing...
